Advanced Climate Dynamics Courses (ACDC) are yearly summer schools organized by the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research at the University of Bergen in collaboration with the University of Washington and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Funding for the summer schools

The summer school is sponsored by the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher Education (SIU), the Norwegian Research School in Climate Dynamics (ResClim), the Research Council of Norway, the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research, University of Bergen (UiB), University of Washington, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT),

Past years summers schools have benefitted from generous support from the US Department of Energy (DoE), JISA and the Quaternary Research Center.

New partners for period 2013-2016 are University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Memorial University of Newfoundland.
